I was born a Georgia Peach, but consider myself a true Texan after spending more than half my life in West Texas. At the age of 4, I told her graduating kindergarten class I wanted to be a “pet doctor”, and at 14 I got my first job a vet clinic. Transitioning from the veterinary world into the non-profit animal welfare world was the instant I knew my true calling.
I am blissfully wedded to Justin, the love of my life, and I am mom of two daughters and one son. I am also the fur-mom of three dogs, two cats, and grand-fur- mom of two dogs. I am a travel enthusiast, a lover of adventure, and I am obsessed with college football and true crime documentaries, although nothing compares to my love of helping homeless pets find their furever families.
