Experience the wonder of the First Christmas through The Light Was Born, an original sacred Christmas musical coming to The Ector Theatre in Odessa. The production brings together live music, theatrical storytelling, sacred art, dramatic performances, and cinematic stage design to tell the Nativity story in a beautiful and reverent way. Created for families and the wider Permian Basin community, The Light Was Born is presented by SAME — the Sacred Arts Ministry of Evangelization, a ministry of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.
