Event Description:
The A.M. session will feature experiential learning through themed experiments, engineering challenges, and inventive projects. The P.M. session will feature hands-on investigations, collaborative engineering projects, and games all centered around a popular kids’ movie. The movie line-up for the Lovin’ LEGOS STEAM Break includes The LEGO Movie, The LEGO Movie 2, Encanto, Ron’s Gone Wrong, and Sing 2. The movie line-up for the Science Behind Sports STEAM Break includes Luca, Rumble, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, Lilo & Stitch, and Turning Red. (Please note that depending on the streaming availability of Turning Red, Ferdinand may be shown instead.) STEAM Break is open to students in 1st through 6th grade. Pre-registration is required.
